The SPCA of Pittsylvania County is a volunteer foster-based animal rescue based in Chatham, VA.
We are here:To help the pets in our community —
and the people who love them.
We work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, providing second chances and loving futures. Thanks to our dedicated network of volunteers and foster families, we’re able to save lives every single day — but we can’t do it without your support.
There are many ways that you can help! From Donations and Sponsorships to Fosters and Volunteers, we have something for everybody. Just know that you are greatly appreciated no matter how you choose to help and we couldn't do this without you! At the SPCA of Pittsylvania County, every animal in our care lives in a loving foster home — not in a shelter. This allows our pets to feel safe, recover, and thrive while waiting for their forever families. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog or cat, please message us, fill out an Adoption Application or email us at info@spcaofpittsylvaniacounty.org If you are missing a pet OR have found a stray, please use the lovelost link seen to the left to enter the animal into the national database and help bring them home.
