Amber is a 5ish-year-old tuxedo cat weighing 7.5 pounds, available for adoption. She was previously considered grumpy, but after a vet visit revealed calcified discs in her back. And after mediccal treatment she has transformed into a much more affectionate cat. While she still prefers things on her own terms...she is a cat for goodness sakes... she now enjoys lovings, tolerates being held, and even allows a kiss or two on the head.

Amber would thrive in a home without dogs, but she is fine with other cats. She loves attention and would prefer an owner loves snuggles throughout the day. And when it comes to food—Amber is absolutely loves meal time.  Who doesn't?
