Axle was surrendered to us by his owner, who joined the armed services and had to move away. The owner wanted what was best for him, and he hopes Axle can get a wonderful forever family where he can grow up around children. Axle is a 50/50 mix of Australian Cattle Dog and American Pit Bull Terrier. Australian Cattle Dogs (Nicknamed Blue Heelers) are Protective, Cautious, Obedient, Loyal, Energetic, and Brave. And we all know Pit Bulls were bred to be babysitter dogs for small children. Axle is very strong, but wonderful around children. True to his working dog character, he just may herd your children around to keep them in check! He loves everyone and has a great personality. He would love lots of exercise every day if possible.
