Lucky

I cant believe that in just a couple of months, we will have had Lucky for a year! :) What started out with us as his foster family, quickly turned when we saw his sweet face. That skinny little boy we picked up on Day 1 at PetCo no longer exists and he couldn't be more loved here in our family. We recently bought a new home that has a yard big enough for 2 kids and 3 dogs and he has more than enough running room - almost 2 acres. He is the most well behaved and well mannered dog, and we have quickly learned that if you have a lap, he's going to try to get in it! I think he forgets how big (and heavy) he actually is. I have to say though, that he has definitely changed the minds of a lot of people who have had misconceptions about pit bulls. We are teaching everyone that we can that they are not all like the dogs that are portrayed in the media. Slowly but surely, he's winning them over.... one non-believer at a time. :) I've attached some recent pictures for you in case you'd like to see him. He's oh so handsome and by far the best decision that we've ever made.
